St Petrox Church
St Petrox Church Dartmouth has its origins in the 12thC. It was greatly improved in 1641. Then during the Civil War (1642 to 1651) it was used as a provisions store for the garrison.
In 1654 my 8x gt grandfather Richard Ellery was baptized in St Petrox on 2nd Oct 1654. His children were also baptised there in cluding my 7x gt grandfather Richard Ellery on 8th August 1697.
